Frequently Asked Questions

Who is this journal for?

In short, this journal is for anyone who wants to improve their musical instrument practice.
Most of the techniques and ideas this journal presents are applicable to any instrument or style of music, making it a useful tool for any musician regardless of skill level.

Which version should I get? The paperback or the Print and Play version?

In terms of content, there’s no significant difference between the two. However, how you progress is a bit different. The physical copy, being an actual book, offers a more linear approach, where each new piece of content is delivered in the originally intended way.

Because the Print and Play version consists of multiple PDF files that you can print, it includes a progression guide that follows the paperback order and recommends how you should complete your sessions and any additional side content.

In a nutshell, the paperback is ideal if you want to dive straight into practicing or if you enjoy having a physical copy. For a more budget-friendly option, the Print and Play version offers the flexibility to print your own practice sheets whenever you need them.

Where can I download the Print and Play version?

Once you’ve successfully purchased the journal, you’ll receive a download link at the email address you used for the purchase. The link usually arrives within the next hour or so after purchase.

Do I have to print the entire journal if I get the Print and Play version?

No. Most of the pages in the Print and Play version are meant to be read-only, so you don’t have to print them unless you want to.

You only need to print the pages you’ll actually write on which are:
  • Practice sheets for tutorial chapters (9 pages)
  • Practice Journal Progression Guide (1 page)
  • Side Quest forms (1 page)
  • Practice sheet for Master Sessions (1 page for every two sessions)
  • Tracker Sheet (1 page)

The pages can be printed on standard A4 paper.
If you have a device that supports on-screen writing for PDF files (such as an iPad), you can also complete your journaling digitally, no printing required.

The paperback version is not available in my country; what should I do?

Shipping and delivery is handled by Amazon, so please make sure you’re visitng the product page of  your Amazon region.

If it's still not available in your region, we recommend purchasing the Print and Play version instead. It offers essentially the same content and tools you would get from the paperback, while also being a more budget friendly option.
